Every ward and bed, on one board.
Set up wards by class and gender policy, give beds their own rates, and run admissions, reservations and transfers from a bed board for every ward.
Ward management. What it does today.
-
Wards by class
General, semi-private, private or ICU, each with a gender policy and a daily bed charge.
-
Beds with their own rates
A bed can carry features and its own daily rate, which overrides the ward’s.
-
A bed board for every ward
Every bed with its state, occupancy figures, day of stay, and a flag when vitals are overdue.
-
Reserve, admit, transfer
Reserve a bed for a named patient, admit from the board, and transfer with a reason and a full history.
-
Gender policy, enforced
A patient who does not match a ward’s gender policy needs a ward manager’s override.
-
Maintenance
Take a bed out of use for maintenance, with a reason, and bring it back when it is ready.
Not yet: Bed board updating on its own (it updates on Refresh today). Housekeeping workflow.
One system, not a bolt-on.
Ward management shares one patient record, one stock count and one staff list with every other HealthEase module, so nothing is typed twice. Turn on the modules you need and pay for what your clinic actually uses.
HealthEase was first built for the Institute of Skin Diseases in Karachi, where it registered more than 3 million visits. How it grew.
Questions, answered plainly.
Can different beds have different rates?
Yes. Each ward has a daily charge, and a bed can carry its own rate that overrides it.
Does HealthEase support ICU and private wards?
Yes. Wards are set up as general, semi-private, private or ICU, each with its own gender policy and charge.
Are bed transfers recorded?
Yes. A transfer needs a reason and is kept on the admission’s history.
