Cookie Policy
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Vanta (Private) Limited ("Vanta", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Pakistan and operator of the marketing website healthease.app (the "Site"), uses cookies and similar technologies on the Site. It should be read together with our Website Privacy Policy.
This Policy covers the Site only. Cookies and similar technologies used inside the HealthEase product (for example, session tokens that keep clinic staff signed in) are covered by the product documentation and customer agreement, not by this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows when it was most recently revised (see the section on changes to this Policy below).
2. Our Approach: As Few Cookies as Possible
We have deliberately built the Site to work without advertising or tracking cookies:
- No advertising pixels. We do not use ad-tech pixels or advertising cookies of any kind.
- No cross-site tracking. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not share Site behaviour with advertising networks.
- Cookieless analytics. Our Site analytics are designed to be privacy-protective and cookieless: they are intended to count page views and interaction events in aggregate (for example, how many visitors opened the pricing page) without setting cookies, without fingerprinting individuals, and without collecting personal data in analytics events.
Because of this, the Site does not need — and does not show — a cookie-consent banner. If our practices ever change so that consent is required (for example, if we introduce analytics or marketing cookies), we will add a consent mechanism before any such cookie is set, and we will update this Policy.
3. What We Actually Use
3.1 Strictly-necessary cookies and storage
The Site limits itself to a small number of strictly-necessary items — those required for the Site to function and to support its security. These do not require consent under most laws, though we disclose them here for transparency. They fall into the following categories:

No item in these categories identifies you personally, tracks your browsing on other sites, or is shared with advertisers. If you would like the current list of items set by the Site at any given time, contact us at info@healthease.app and we will provide it.
3.2 Analytics
Our analytics tooling is configured to be cookieless and aggregate-only, as described in our approach above. It stores no cookies and no identifiers on your device. Events recorded (such as page views or "estimator started") are designed to contain no personal data.
3.3 What we do NOT use
- No advertising or targeting cookies
- No social-media tracking cookies
- No cross-site or third-party tracking cookies
- No cookies that profile you as an individual
4. How to Control Cookies
Even strictly-necessary items are under your control:
- Browser settings. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage (usually under Settings → Privacy). Blocking strictly-necessary items may stop some forms on the Site from working.
- Private/incognito browsing discards cookies when you close the window.
- Because we set no optional cookies, there is nothing further to opt out of on our side.
Guidance for common browsers is available in each browser's help pages (search "manage cookies" plus your browser's name).
5. Third Parties
The Site is hosted with a reputable cloud hosting provider operating in the Asia-Pacific (Singapore) region under appropriate data-protection safeguards. Hosting infrastructure may keep standard technical server logs (see our Website Privacy Policy), but we do not permit third parties to set tracking cookies on the Site. If you follow a link from the Site to a third-party website (for example, an app store), that site's own cookie practices apply.
Online payments. Where you pay for a HealthEase subscription online, the payment is processed by United Bank Limited (UBL), a licensed commercial bank in Pakistan acting as our payment processor, on secure payment pages operated by the UBL payment gateway (for example, a hosted payment page or a redirect to the gateway's checkout), not on the Site itself. During a transaction, the UBL payment gateway may set its own strictly-necessary cookies on its payment pages — for example, to maintain the payment session and to protect against fraud. Those cookies are set on UBL's pages, are governed by UBL's own cookie and privacy policies, and are not controlled by Vanta. Card details are handled by UBL under its own PCI-DSS-compliant terms; Vanta does not receive or store full card numbers. These cookies do not change the Site's own cookie inventory described earlier in this Policy, which remains as stated. (The free trial requires no payment card, so no payment pages — and no payment-processor cookies — are involved in starting a trial.)
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time — for example, if the Site's technical implementation changes. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date, and if we ever introduce cookies that require consent, we will ask for that consent before setting them.
7. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
This Policy is provided for information and transparency only. It does not form part of any contract and does not create obligations beyond those required by applicable law.
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied (including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement), to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vanta's liability arising out of or in connection with the Site, this Policy, and the cookies or similar technologies described here is governed by, and subject to the limitations and exclusions of liability set out in, the HealthEase Subscription Agreement (or other written agreement) between Vanta and the relevant customer. Where no such agreement applies to you, then to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law Vanta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under any non-excludable data-protection or consumer-protection rights.
