Admission
Choose the ward, bed, admitting doctor and diagnosis, and take a deposit if you need one.

Doctor’s advice
Doctors advise admission or discharge, the ward acts on it or declines with a reason, and the doctor sees the outcome.

Vitals with alerts
Temperature, pulse, blood pressure, breathing, oxygen, pain and blood sugar, with a trend chart. Abnormal readings are flagged, and vitals fall due hourly in ICU and every four hours elsewhere.

Nursing notes
A timeline of notes that cannot be edited once saved, corrected by addendum. Nurses can be assigned to patients, and notes can be written offline.

A running bill
Add charges, take deposits and see the balance at any time. Bed days are counted automatically when the bill is settled.

Two-step discharge
Starting discharge freezes the charges, an accountant settles the bill, then the patient is discharged as normal, against medical advice, referred or deceased.
Not yet: Printed discharge summary and inpatient bill. Medication administration record. Diet and operation theatre.

Does HealthEase count bed days automatically?
Yes. Bed-day charges are added for every day of the stay, including the day of admission, when the bill is settled.
Can a patient be discharged with an unpaid bill?
No. Discharge waits until the accountant has settled the bill.
Are vitals tracked over time?
Yes. Vitals show as a table and a trend chart, abnormal readings are flagged, and overdue vitals show on the bed board.
Does it handle discharge against medical advice?
Yes. Discharge types are normal, against medical advice, referred and deceased, and some need a summary or an attestation note.
