HealthEase now runs whole hospitals, not just the front desk. Read more →

Hospital management software, from OPD to discharge.

HealthEase is hospital management software, first built by Dex N Hex and developed today by Vanta (Private) Limited. OPD queues, wards, pharmacy, stock, billing, staff and reports share one patient record, and the front desk keeps working when the internet does not.

What it runs. One system for the whole building.

  • OPDs at volume

Several OPDs and rooms, each with its own queue. Rooms take turns, each taking a set number of patients before the next, rooms can be kept for one gender, and display boards show who is next.

  • Wards and IPD

A bed board for every ward, admissions and transfers in a few taps, clinical advice on the record, and a discharge bill that counts the bed days for you.

  • Pharmacy and inventory

Counter sales against the prescription, cash sessions per shift, and stock by batch across stores: purchase orders, goods received, transfers, supplier returns and valuation.

  • Billing and receipts

Fees and charges collected at the desk with numbered receipts. A void needs a second person to approve it, so the day sheet stays honest.

  • Staff and access

Duty rosters, attendance against your own timings, and access set by role, from reception to accounts, adjusted person by person.

  • Reports for management

Daily, monthly and yearly figures by OPD, room and doctor, so management sees real patient flow instead of estimates.

Proven in a real hospital. Five thousand patients a morning.

At the Institute of Skin Diseases in Karachi, a government hospital, HealthEase replaced paper slips across the male and female OPDs. Four counters registered 3,000 to 5,000 patients every morning, more than 3 million visits in all.

Doctors and staff who had never used software ran it every day, and all 12 surveyed recommended keeping it. Read how it grew from that queue into a hospital system.

Questions, answered plainly.

What is hospital management software?

Hospital management software, often called an HMIS, runs a hospital’s patient flow, wards, pharmacy, stock, billing, staff and reporting in one system. HealthEase covers each of these, from the OPD queue to the discharge bill.

Can HealthEase handle a high-volume OPD?

Yes. It registered 3,000 to 5,000 patients a day at the Institute of Skin Diseases in Karachi, at 15 to 20 seconds per registration, for more than 3 million visits.

Does HealthEase include inpatient care?

Yes. The wards module has a bed board, admissions, transfers, clinical advice and a discharge bill that counts bed days.

Does it keep working if the internet goes down?

Yes. The front desk keeps registering patients and printing tokens offline, and records sync when the connection is back.

Who built HealthEase?

Dex N Hex built HealthEase, starting in 2023, and first deployed it in March 2024. In January 2026 the business became Vanta (Private) Limited, which develops and operates HealthEase today.
