OPD management, from the token to the prescription.

The outpatient side of HealthEase: set up your OPDs and rooms, see every visit of the day, give doctors a worklist, triage the urgent, and record diagnoses and prescriptions on the patient record.

OPD. What it does today.

  • OPDs and rooms

Create as many OPDs as you run, each with its own rooms. A room can be kept for male or female patients and set to limited or double capacity.

  • The day’s visits

Every visit with its token, patient, MR number, room and status. Mark a visit complete, no-show, reopened or cancelled, with a reason.

  • Doctor worklist

Each doctor sees today’s patients for their room in token order, and which ones still need a diagnosis or prescription.

  • Triage

A triage station sets urgency from 1 to 5 and the chief complaint, then sends the patient on to their room or somewhere else.

  • Diagnoses and notes

Pick one or more diagnoses from your own list, with optional ICD codes, or type them, and add a clinical note.

  • Prescriptions

One line per medicine with quantity, dosage and duration, printed on A4 with the patient’s details and a signature box.

  • Paper slips, entered later

Busy doctors can keep writing on paper: a data-entry operator scans the slip’s barcode and records it on the doctor’s behalf.

Not yet: Appointments and online booking (walk-in queues only today). Lab orders and results. Vitals in the OPD (vitals are recorded for inpatients).

One system, not a bolt-on.

OPD shares one patient record, one stock count and one staff list with every other HealthEase module, so nothing is typed twice. Turn on the modules you need and pay for what your clinic actually uses.

HealthEase was first built for the Institute of Skin Diseases in Karachi, where it registered more than 3 million visits. How it grew.

Questions, answered plainly.

What is OPD management software?

OPD management software runs a hospital or clinic’s outpatient department: registering walk-in patients, sending them to the right room, keeping the doctor’s worklist, and recording diagnoses and prescriptions. HealthEase does this with a token queue that keeps working offline.

Can doctors keep writing on paper?

Yes. A data-entry operator can scan the visit’s barcode and record the diagnosis and prescription on the doctor’s behalf, so the record is complete either way.

Does it handle several OPDs?

Yes. Create as many OPDs and rooms as you run. Each room has its own queue, and rooms can be kept for one gender.

Can I use ICD codes?

Yes. Your diagnosis list can carry an ICD code for each entry, and you choose whether diagnoses print on the receipt.
