A pharmacy counter that dispenses the right batch.
Sell in seconds at the counter, dispense against the prescription, and always take stock from the batch that expires first. Every shift opens and closes a cash session, so the drawer adds up.
Pharmacy. What it does today.
-
A fast counter
Search by name or scan a barcode, build the cart, and take cash with change worked out, card, or credit to a known patient.
-
Earliest expiry first
Stock comes from the batch that expires soonest. Expired batches are blocked, and batches close to expiry ask the pharmacist to confirm.
-
Against the prescription
Link a sale to the patient’s visit and dispense against the doctor’s prescription.
-
Discounts with a second pair of eyes
Line or cart discounts, and a discount above your limit needs approval from someone other than the cashier.
-
Returns and voids
Partial returns, never more than was sold, refunded in cash or to the original payment. Same-day voids need a reason.
-
Cash sessions per shift
The counter opens with a cash session, records cash in and out, and closes with a count by notes. A large difference needs a manager.
-
Receipts
A receipt prints at the end of every sale and can be reprinted from sales history.
Not yet: Tax calculation on sales. Split payments across two methods. Drug interaction checks.
One system, not a bolt-on.
Pharmacy shares one patient record, one stock count and one staff list with every other HealthEase module, so nothing is typed twice. Turn on the modules you need and pay for what your clinic actually uses.
HealthEase was first built for the Institute of Skin Diseases in Karachi, where it registered more than 3 million visits. How it grew.
Questions, answered plainly.
Does HealthEase dispense the earliest-expiry batch?
Yes. Stock is taken from the batch that expires first, expired batches are blocked, and batches near expiry ask for confirmation.
Can the pharmacy sell against a prescription?
Yes. A sale can be linked to the patient’s visit, and the pharmacist dispenses against the doctor’s prescription.
How is cash kept honest?
Each shift runs a cash session that closes with a count by notes. A difference needs a note, and a large one needs a manager’s approval.
Does it work with a barcode scanner?
Yes. Scan a medicine’s barcode at the counter, or search by name or SKU.
